Episode 21: Cutler Point and Red Hollow Slot Canyon // Unbelievable Beauty in Kanab, UT Join us on two un-planned adventures in Utah! When we realized we were only one town away from our friends Ron & Claudia we met up and they graciously took us one of their favorite spots. Since moving to Kanab, Ron has been hosting guided jeep tours of the area and Claudia has opened an art studio called Kanab Create. We hopped in the jeep and drove to Cutler Point, a beautiful sandstone mountain carved out with a giant sand dune inside. We had an unbelievable time on our trip out there and at dinner. The last day we had in Orderville, we took the recommendation of our AirBnB host Dixie again to find the Red Hollow Slot Canyon. A short drive from where we stayed and less than a mile hike in. What an unexpected surprise! I didn't know what a slot canyon was until we arrived. How dramatic and amazing it was - we hiked and climbed as far as we could go through the narrow winding canyon. One point we had to climb up by a rope - I still can't believe I made it! This is not a national park so you just hike on in. If you're ever in Orderville, definitely check it out!! If we play for money will do a buy-in of either $5, $10, $15 $20. Once we decide the buy in amount we all start with $2,000 worth of chips. 1-$1,000 chip, 1-$500 chip, 2-$100 chips, 2-$50 chips, 6-$25 chips, 10-$5 chips. After a 6 deck blackjack dealing shoe round, the person with most chips wins the money. I hope you guys enjoy the videos.
