Circa Resort & Casino is a hotel and casino in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, on the Fremont Street Experience. Circa has a two-story casino, a three-story sportsbook, 777 hotel rooms, five restaurants, and a six-tiered swimming pool area. At Project BBQ Chef Rex Bernales’ Project BBQ is the Fremont Street Experiences’ only permanent food truck and its first Carolina barbecue joint. Relax in the “front yard” while you feast on freshly smoked backyard BBQ, including the signature Garbage Bowl – handmade potato chips smothered in smoked meats, coleslaw, bacon and a trio of Carolina BBQ, beer and cheese sauces. Project bbq Chef Rex Bernales serves mouth-watering pulled brisket, pork and chicken - including tacos and empanadas - and ups the ante with his two-foot long $100 Sandwich and Hogstravaganza platter, featuring a full barbecued pig delivered with signature Vegas fanfare. Situated on Circa's exterior, Project BBQ spills out onto the Fremont Street Experience with a built-in "backyard" for communal gathering. Guests can dine as they enjoy spectacular light shows from Viva Vision overhead and live music from surrounding concert stages. Opening its doors in 2020, Circa is the newest hotel and casino to hit downtown Las Vegas! It was built from the ground up where the former Las Vegas Club stood, on the west end of Fremont Street Experience. As its name may suggest, this stunning resort pays tribute to Vegas’ iconic decades of the past — as well as all the latest debaucherous details we’ve come to expect from Sin City. If you haven’t been to Circa Resort & Casino yet, you’re missing out on a legend in the making! Here are some things we love about Circa Las Vegas and why you need to add this downtown destination to your must-do Vegas list. Stadium Swim (the pool) The reason so many people flock to Circa is Stadium Swim, the resort’s epic pool area. It’s so much more than just a swimming pool! For a genuine only-in-Vegas experience, Stadium Swim offers: Six separate swimming pools built on tiered stadium-like levels 40-foot, high-definition screen to view games and other sporting events A plush lounge area with day beds, lounge chairs and private cabanas Several swim-up bars and gaming tables Live DJs and entertainment Over 100 dedicated staff members Capacity for 4,000 Whether you want to catch the game as you wade in the cool, sparkling water or are soaking up the Las Vegas sun with your crew before hitting the town, Stadium Swim is something you don’t want to miss.   The Legacy Club. if you’re looking for an excellent rooftop cocktail bar with a view, Legacy Club has the competition beat. This sleek bar is perched high above downtown Las Vegas on Circa’s 60th floor and boasts stunning panoramic views of Sin City you won’t find anywhere on the Strip. Inspired by vintage icons of the city’s past, Legacy Club is the perfect place to sit back, relax and raise a glass to Las Vegas. Enjoy a chilled craft cocktail as you take in the views. Also, don’t forget to get a picture with the 500 real gold bars on display — complete with a real-time value ticker!. If you’re a foodie, get ready to have your socks knocked off by the array of dining options available at Circa! From upscale steak and wine to more casual eating, head to Circa for some of the best food in downtown Las Vegas. The most popular restaurants include: Barry’s Downtown Prime – High-end steakhouse for classic dishes and craft cocktails 8 East – Mouthwatering Asian-inspired fusion dishes to satisfy any craving Project BBQ – The only permanent food truck in Las Vegas serving the best pulled pork, chicken and brisket Victory Burger – Grab a quick bite with a menu featuring mouthwatering burgers and sides Another reason we love Circa is the hotel room amenities. Every room in their hotel offers exclusive perks and luxury touches that will keep you coming back again and again. Some standard amenities available in all rooms include: Mini refrigerator Dual vanities Hair dryer Tablet technology In-room safe Clothing steamer Walk-in shower with bench Ultra-comfortable Serta mattress This episode I have ribs at Project BBQ and hang out to watch sports at Stadium Swim.

NOT SPONSORED | Audio comparison of Epiphone Casino stock harness and pre-wired replacement harness. The purpose of this video is to examine tone-shaping variations from the guitar’s controls that can be made available by swapping out the stock harness. Other videos generally include a pickup upgrade too – but in this case the stock pickups have been kept. It’s the before-and-after sound comparison that matters. I play in a sixties covers band with this eBay-purchase Casino and the Vox, and wouldn’t actually use these amp settings live (I often use the Top Boost channel with the tone cut well to the left and master on full, channel volume on about 4, plus a dash of tremolo and reverb here and there). I go straight into the amp and like to have control over my sound from the guitar. These stock Casino pickups are a bit full-on and not particularly bright which is why some people upgrade them. Although I find them a bit dark for P90s I'll stick with them for now, but I think the big compromise is really with the stock harness. You simply can't get much variation from the controls. I've had this problem on every Epi I've ever owned - with the exception of one of their excellent recent LP Juniors. It’s not that the Casino's stock pots, switch and wiring are bad (I’ve had far flimsier Chinese harnesses on guitars in the past), but that they don’t give the level of variation I like. When I got my Les Paul R8 years ago (humblebrag) it came with fifties wiring. That was a revelation. I loved it and have since installed fifties harnesses in my SG and 335 too, and thought it would be worth changing out the one in the Casino. If you’ve come here looking for a video on how to swap the harness there’s nothing much to see. What I can tell you is that it took me a couple of hours. Apart from your soldering iron I used some hooks to pull everything into place, some needle-nose pliers, and a step cutter 10mm/12mm drill bit as the new pots and switch are Imperial sizes and the Chinese ones are metric. Compared with rewiring the 335 this was an absolute doddle because you can easily put the harness in through the bridge pickup cavity (something overlooked by Mick in his TPS video on the subject https://youtu.be/ubwr6Owqp_E, but illustrated nicely by Lyle at Psionic https://youtu.be/6BqgIoUyC6Q). This audio was recorded on my phone, placed next to the amp, so it’s hardly hi-fi. But you can hear a definite change in clarity, much more variation on the tone controls, and a night-and-day change in the response of the volume controls. It's perfect for me, as I rarely turn the guitar volume up to 10 and usually ride it around half-way for rhythm playing. Listen in particular to the change in sound at 2.16, where I have the guitar volumes at 5. At 2.53 the neck pickup comparison's particularly obvious. The old Casino's come alive! In this case I used a pre-wired harness from James’ Home of Tone. I opted for the .01uF neck capacitor to brighten it up a bit and help deal with the pickup’s woofiness. James also supplied the Imperial knobs and switch toggle, and responded immediately when I forgot to include the Imperial pointer washers with my order. Very helpful chap. And if you’re wondering about the amplifier stand, I got it from Tony at voxac30.co.uk – it’s specially made for the AC15. Afraid I haven't enabled comments as I've put this here for information, not a discussion. Sorry. Harness: https://www.homeoftone.co.uk/products/signature-series-pre-wired-es-335-harness-kit Amp stand: https://www.voxac30.co.uk/vox-ac15-amp-stand/ Finally, as mentioned, my live tone is a bit different to this demo using the same guitar and amp. Should be even more so now. Here's the Casino in the mix with the old harness and AC15 (no pedals, not mic'd or on a stand) at a gig. You should be able to easily tell the sound of the Casino from the other guitarist's Strat. At gig volume the mud from the stock pickups isn't really an issue for this style of music. There's only one point where I turned the guitar volume up for a solo (on Runaway, where it's nice and bright). It's only camcorder footage, so I'm afraid the sound quality leaves a bit to be desired. https://youtu.be/wHMn85te0yA
